For the week of September 15-21, 2014
Robert Kalata and Austin Krantz are the Great Falls Americans Co-Players of the Week for September 15-21, 2014. Great Falls opened up their 2014-15 season in their new league, the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) on Saturday night at the Glacier Nationals in Havre, MT. In the off-season, the Glacier Nationals moved from Whitefish, MT to Havre, MT so this was the first junior hockey contest in Havre.
Both Kalata and Krantz helped lead the Americans to an 8-2 road victory as they each recorded two goals and 1 assist apiece to account for half of the Americans goals in the season opener.
Krantz, who was a member of the 2013-14 season, scored both of his first period and third period goals on power play opportunities. While newcomer Kalata scored his first goal 1:14 into the middle period to give the Americans a 3-1 advantage. Kalata also scored the team's final points with his second goal with five seconds remaining in the contest. Both of their assists came on the final two goals of the game.

For the week of September 22-28, 2014
Wade Wylie and Miles Giorgione are the Great Falls Americans Co-Players of the Week for September 22-28, 2014. In their second week of the season, the Americans picked up two victories (a 7-0 shutout over Bozeman at home and a 4-3 win at Billings) including a come-from-behind win over the Billings Bulls on Saturday night in Billings, MT. Wade Wylie was a big reason why Great Falls earned two victories this weekend as he scored 3 goals and one assist.
Miles Giorgione recorded two goals and dished out three assists too.

For the week of September 29 - October 5, 2014
Dylan Garton and Erik Gatson are the Great Falls Americans Co-Players of the Week for September 29 - October 5, 2014. The Americans picked up two more victories this week to improve their record to 5-0 and first place in the Frontier Division of the NA3HL thanks to Dylan Garton and Erik Gatson.
They each had a goal and an assist each night in two wins over the Gillette Wild this weekend. They both enjoyed fine season during the 2013-14 season with the Americans as well.

Hunter Garris and Devin Panzeca are the Great Falls Americans Co-Players of the Week for October 6-12, 2014. The Americans won two more games to run their record to 7-0 on the season and continue to lead the Frontier Division of the NA3HL in the standings.
In Friday night's 12-1 win over the Yellowstone Quake, Hunter Garris and Devin Panzeca each recorded a hat trick (3 or more goals in a game). Garris finished with four while Panzeca dished out three in the rout over the Wyoming club. Panzeca also added another goal in Friday's 4-2 victory over Yellowstone.

Cody Page and Michael Kliment are the Great Falls Americans Co-Players of the Week for October 13-19, 2014. Both players played key roles in two wins on the road against Gillette (a 5-2 win on Friday and a 3-1 win on Saturday night).
Cody Page, from Capistrano Beach, California, contributed 2 goals and two assists in the weekend victories for Great Falls. Kliment combined for three total assists in the Americans eighth and ninth wins of the season.

Kalata's two goals against Bozeman on Friday night helped Great Falls escape with a 4-2 victory over the Ice Dogs. He was also instrumental in Saturday's matchup with rival Helena as he provided the game-winning assist that fellow teammate Dylan Garton converted to give Great Falls a 1-0 win over the previously two unbeaten teams in the Frontier Division of the NA3HL on Saturday night in Great Falls.

Dylan Garton is the Great Falls Americans Player of the Week for October 27 - November 2, 2014. In the Americans only game of the week, Dylan Garton scored one of his team's four goals and provided two assists in a 4-1 victory over the visiting Bozeman Ice Dogs on November 1st.
Garton is a key component in the Americans 12-0 record so far this season.

Lomax scored two goals for the Americans in a 4-2 victory over the Helena Bighorns on Saturday night (October 8th) in Great Falls. He played a key role in helping the Americans win 13 out of their 14 games so far this season.
The Arizona native has eight goals and five assists for the Americans.

Lucas Lomax and Craig Hayes are the Great Falls Americans Players of the Week for November 10-16, 2014.
In Friday's game (Nov. 14th) in Billings, Lucas Lomax scored one of the three Americans goals in a 3-0 shut-out victory over the Bulls. Lomax scored the first goal for the Americans in the first period of their 5-3 come-from-behind win over the visiting Bozeman Ice Dogs. He also had a key third period assist.
Craig Hayes had his best performance of the 2014-15 season in Saturday's (Nov. 15th) win at home against Bozeman. He scored once in the second and third periods including the go-ahead score in the middle of the final period.
Great Falls has now won 15 of their 16 games on the season including 9-1 at the Great Falls Ice Plex.

Marvin Simmons is the Great Falls Americans Player of the Week for November 17-23, 2014.
Simmons had one goal and one assist this weekend as the Americans went 1-1. He had a first period assist off teammate Malachi Bushey's score in the first period of their 2-1 loss to Glacier. The Americans rebounded from their loss to pick up a 3-1 victory on the road to Helena. Simmons scored the first points for Great Falls on a power play goal in the middle period.
Great Falls has won 16 games this year including a 7-0 record away from the Great Falls Ice Plex.

Great Falls won their only game on their schedule during Thanksgiving weekend as they blanked the home team Bozeman Ice Dogs 4-0 on Saturday, Nov. 29th. Lucas Lomax scored the first goal of the second period (second goal overall). During the season, he has accumulated 18 points (12 goals and 6 assists) for the 17-2 Americans squad coached by Jeff Heimel.

Lucas Lomax, Dylan Garton and Zack Mese are the Great Falls Americans Players of the Week for December 1-9, 2014.
The Americans played four games in five days during the first week of December. They won all four games including three at the prestigious NA3HL Hockey Showcase.
Leading the way for the Great Falls team were Dylan Garton and Lucas Lomax, who each added three goals for the 21-2 franchise with wins over Glacier (7-5), Minnesota (3-1), St. Louis (4-3 in a shootout), and a 2-0 over the Point Mallard (AL) Ducks.
In addition to Garton and Lomax, Zack Mese provided six assists in the four games and now has 15 assists on the season.

Great Falls goaltender Evan Hauser is the Great Falls Americans Players of the Week for December 10-14, 2014.
He played in the last game of the two-game home series against the Gillette Wild this week. He made 39 saves and allowed only one goal in the final period of Saturday's game. The Minnesota native managed to improve on his GAA (Goals Against Average), which was 1.42 prior to this contest. Hauser is now 14-0 and currently is the top-ranked goaltender in the league with 447 saves in 14 games played.

Lucas Lomax is the Great Falls Americans Players of the Week for December 15-21, 2014.
On Friday, December 19th game at Bozeman, Lucas scored the first of three Americans goals scored in the first period of their 3-2 win against the Ice Dogs.
The folowing night in Great Falls' home game against Bozeman, he tallied two goals and two assists in helping the Americans get their 24th victory of the season in a 9-2 rout.
He currently leads the team in goals scored with 19.

Stover scored once during the second period and dished out one assist in the final period of Friday's home game against rival Helena. Great Falls went on to win 3-1 and Carona, California native helped them pick up their 25th victory in 30 games.

Dylan Garton is the Great Falls Americans Player of the Week (January 5-11, 2015).
In Saturday's 5-2 win over the Billings Bulls, Garton had one assist in the second period and scored the final Americans goal with 44 seconds left. The Great Falls native's empty net goal went unassisted.
Garton also played well in Sunday's home win over Glacier. He assisted Zack Mese's goal which proved to be the game winner in the second period. Great Falls went on to defeat the Glacier Nationals 2-1.

In Great Falls' dominating victory over Glacier on Friday night, Lucas scored the third goal for the Americans as they routed the home team (Glacier Nationals), 7-2 in Havre, Montana.
The California native scored the Americans second goal of the contest in the second period of Saturday's overtime loss to Helena.

Great Falls picked up two quality wins over the Yellowstone Quake on Thursday and Friday night in Cody, Wyoming. In the Americans 6-0 blanking of the Quake, Wade Wylie had two of those goals by scoring one each in the second and third periods.
Joshua Larson, who was acquired from the Glacier Nationals via a trade on February 7th, added a goal and two assists all in the middle period.

California native Cody Page scored points in both of the Americans games this weekend including a 3-2 win over Bozeman on Friday and a 3-1 setback to Helena on Saturday night. He had a goal and an assist in Friday's win in Bozeman and was the recipient of an assist in the Americans only successful score against Helena in their final regular season road contest.
He now has scored 28 points for the Great Falls club including 10 goals and 18 assists.

Lucas Stover is the Great Falls Americans Player of the Week for February 23 - March 1, 2015.
Stover, a 6'1" defenseman, scored one goal and had 4 assists in two games with the Americans and two contests as a member of the Frontier Division's squad at the 2015 Top Prospects Tournament in Ann Arbor, Michigan this week.
In Monday's contest at the NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament as a member of the Frontier squad, he assisted in one score to lift his team to a 3-2 win over the NA3HL 18U Selects team. The following day against the East Division team, he netted a goal and assisted on another scoring drive despite his team's 5-4 loss.
He registered two assists in the Americans 5-1 win over the Glacier Nationals.
During the 2014-15 regular season, he has scored five goals and finished the season with 20 assists, The Carona, California native played in 41 of the 47 contests for the Great Falls squad this season.

Lucas Lomax, Josh Larson and Cody Page are the Great Falls Americans Players of the Week for March 2-8, 2015.
Lucas Lomax, Josh Larson and Cody Page were the key players for the top-ranked Great Falls Americans as they battled the #4 Billings Bulls in the 2015 NA3HL Frontier Divisional Semi-Finals. The best-of-three series only needed two games as Great Falls pulled out a 5-4 win on Thursday night at home and then easily won their second game in Billings on Friday 6-2. They now advance on to the 2015 NA3HL Frontier Divisional Finals that start next week.
Lucas Lomax completed a hat trick each night of the series. On Thursday night, he was responsible for four of the five American goals and on Friday night, he delivered three goals and dished out 2 assists.
Josh Larson and Cody Page each tallied three assists in Thursday home victory and the following night against Billings, Larson scored twice and produced 4 assists while Page added 1 goal and 1 assist.

Josh Larson and Arseny Ivanov are the Great Falls Americans Players of the Week for March 9-15, 2015.
Both of these athletes played key roles in their two-game sweep of the Helena Bighorns in the 2015 Frontier Divisional Finals this week. Great Falls out-scored Helena 11-4 in two games. They won the first game in the best-of-three series 5-2 on Friday night followed by a 6-2 victory in the final game of the series. The Americans now advance to the 2015 NA3HL Silver Cup Hockey Tournament this next week in Geneva, Illinois.
In each game, Josh Larson scored one goal and added two assists to help the Americans improve on the season (38-10-3).
In Friday night's win, Arseny Ivanov found the back of the net twice and in Saturday's clincher picked up on assist in the third period.

Jordan Moran is the Great Falls Americans Player of the Week for March 16-22, 2015.
Americans goaltender Jordan Moran, the 6'3", 195 lb. native of Prior Lake, Minnesota, finished the season with an overall record of 17-9 including a 4-3 record in the NA3HL Frontier Playoffs and the NA3HL Silver Cup. He had 105 saves in the three games he played in this week at the NA3HL Silver Cup with losses to West Michigan, Metro (MI) and North Iowa. He also had a save percentage of 0.0897%. He also played for the North Iowa Bulls of the NA3HL this season.
